Attendance Information

When is the deadline to RSVP and reserve my room?

Please confirm your attendance and submit your room deposit by September 17, 2026. Your reservation is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received. After the deadline, any remaining rooms in our room block will be released and availability cannot be guaranteed. Please see the information below on reserving a room.

Who's included in my invitation?

Your invitation is reserved for the guest(s) whose name(s) appear when you access the invitation link. If you don't see someone's name listed, they have not been included in the invitation and in turn are not on our guest list. We appreciate your understanding as we celebrate with our invited guests.

Can I bring a plus-one?

We will only accommodate guests officially named on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Do I have to stay at Club Med to attend the wedding?

Yes! Due to our venue agreement, all wedding guests are required to stay at Club Med. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate guests who choose to stay at another property.

Travel & Arrival

What airport should I fly into?

You should fly into Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ). The resort is located just a short 10-to-15-minute drive from the airport.

When should I plan to arrive and depart?

Our official contracted room block runs from Friday, July 16, 2027, through Monday, July 19, 2027. However, we are planning to head down early on Wednesday, July 14, 2027, to kick off the vacation! If you would like to fly in early to spend more time in paradise with us, you are more than welcome to extend your stay. Please note the room rate shown on our website also applies to any additional nights, including stays extended through Monday, July 19.

Do I need a passport?

Yes! A valid passport is required for all guests traveling to the Dominican Republic. Please double-check your expiration date to ensure it is valid for at least 6 months past our wedding date. Individuals traveling to Dominican Republic must complete a digital entry form prior to their arrival: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/

Do I need to book my flight through the wedding travel agency?

No, you are free to book your flights using your preferred airline or travel miles! Just make sure your arrival coordinates smoothly with your resort check-in.

Resort & Booking

What is included in my room rate?

Club Med Punta Cana is completely all-inclusive! Your room rate covers your accommodations, all meals (including daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets), unlimited snacks, reservations at specialty à la carte restaurants, and premium local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages served by the glass. It also includes access to pools, the beach, daily resort activities, and nightly entertainment.

Is there a minimum stay required to book?

Yes, the resort requires a minimum stay of 3 nights to receive our exclusive group discount rates.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Official resort check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Late departures are subject to hotel availability and may incur an additional fee.

Where is the best spot to watch the sunset?

Because Club Med Punta Cana is located on the east coast of the island, the sun actually sets behind the resort over the palm trees, rather than over the ocean! However, if you're an early riser, the oceanfront sunrises are absolutely breathtaking and worth waking up for.

Money & Payments

Are there any extra hidden resort fees?

Outside of your nightly room rate and the mandatory one-time resort fee ($60 per adult), everything baseline is covered! The only optional extras would be premium excursions, spa treatments, or motorized water sports not included in the standard all-inclusive package.

Can I pay for my room in installments?

Yes! To lock in your room reservation, a non-refundable 30% initial deposit ($450 USD) is due at booking. The remaining balance can be paid over time, with the final 100% payment due 30 days prior to travel. Please note all room deposits and any additional payments made toward your hotel stay are non-refundable. Please be sure of your travel plans before booking, as we are unable to make exceptions to the resort's cancellation policy.

How do I submit my payments securely?

All payments are processed directly through our travel agency, Dreams Caribe. You can submit payments via: - Zelle: sent to jacintojfh@gmail.com - Bank Transfer: details for Bank of America (US) or Banco Popular (Dominican Republic, for local currency options) - Credit Card: processed via a secure WhatsApp link (please note a 3% bank processing fee applies)

When and how do I pay the One-Time Resort Fee?

The one-time resort fee ($60 per adult / $30 per child) is not included in your room booking total and will be collected directly by Club Med Punta Cana at the front desk upon check-in.

The Wedding Day

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We want everyone looking stunning but feeling comfortable in paradise! The dress code is earthy tone palette—such as terracotta, clay, dusty pinks, warm taupe, and rich desert neutrals. Please keep the tropical weather in mind when choosing your outfit.

What are the resort's everyday dining dress codes?

To dine at the resort’s specialty restaurants, Club Med enforces basic attire rules: - Casual: Bermudas, capris, sneakers, and sandals are perfect. Men must wear shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or casual flip-flops in the dining areas). - Casual Elegant: Collared shirts, dress shorts or slacks, and loafers or clean sneakers.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off all cell phones and cameras so you can be fully present in the moment with us. We promise to share our professional wedding photos with everyone afterward! (You are more than welcome to snap as many photos and videos as you'd like during the reception!).

Children & Childcare

Are children invited to the wedding events?

To allow all of our guests an evening of relaxation and celebration, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only. The only children present will be those participating in our bridal party. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Can I bring my children to the Dominican Republic and arrange for outside childcare during the wedding?

Absolutely! To maintain our adults-only atmosphere for the wedding ceremony and reception, parents can utilize Club Med Punta Cana’s after-hours childcare services. The resort offers both private in-room Babysitting Services (perfect for weekends and nights) as well as the Pajama Club® (supervised group evening care from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM). These services can be easily booked for an additional fee directly through the resort's front desk upon arrival.
